Virat Kohli Wicket: After a disappointing performance in their last match, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently taking on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in their 6th game of the IPL 2021 season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Virat Kohli-led team started off their IPL 2021 campaign with four smashing consecutive wins over Mumbai, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Kolkata but then they suffered a poor defeat to Chennai in their previous game. And they haven’t got a wonderful start either in this ongoing game against DC in Ahmedabad.
It is always a big moment for any bowler to get the prized scalp of Virat Kohli who is undoubtedly one of the best batsmen on the planet. Delhi Capitals’ young right-arm pacer Avesh Khan was seen letting out a grand roar celebration after dismissing RCB captain Virat Kohli clean bowled with a wonderful delivery in the ongoing encounter. On the final delivery of the fourth over, Virat was looking to guide the ball towards the third-man region but instead the ball hurried onto the stumps which forced the RCB captain to lose his wicket after scoring just 12 runs off 11 balls.
After Kohli’s wicket, his opening partner Devdutt Padikkal also got out on the very next delivery as DC pacer Ishan Sharma shattered his stumps. RCB’s in-form batsman Glenn Maxwell did smash two brilliant sixes before getting dismissed while playing another irresponsible shot as the veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra provided Delhi Capitals an important breakthrough. Maxwell managed to score 25 runs off 20 balls. The Royal Challengers Bangalore find themselves in a very troublesome situation now after having lost three key wickets at the top with AB de Villiers on the crease to do the recovery and take his team towards a challenging total against Delhi Capitals in this match.
