Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan: The fans around the world always enjoy the exciting banters between cricketers especially on Twitter. One such hilarious Twitter banter between England’s former captain Michael Vaughan and former India batsman Wasim Jaffer has once again sprawled into the limelight. The duo has been involved multiple entertaining conversations on the social media for quite some time now.
The present banter between the former cricketers started when during a recent interview with CricTracker, Michael Vaughan was actually asked to name one cricketer whom he would want to block on social media. The former England captain replied with Wasim Jaffer’s name and also clarified that he doesn’t wishes to block anyone unless he is abused or trolled.
“Wasim Jaffer. To be honest, I wouldn’t block anyone. I block people who abuse me, trying to have a go at me, or someone, whose handle isn’t real,” Michael Vaughan said in a conversation with CricTracker.
However, Wasim Jaffer also came up with a pretty hilarious reply to Vaughan’s comments. The former Indian Test opener posted a picture of India’s historic Test series win over England in 2007 and captioned it as, “Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me.”
The hilarious conversation had not ended with the above mentioned comments as Michael Vaughan came back with another comment stating that he would never want to block any player who got out to his “filthy off-spin” bowling. Vaughan was actually reminding Jaffer of the incident where the former England cricketer dismissed him during the 2002 Lord’s Test.
“I would never do that Wasim … No player that got out to my filthy off spin will ever be blocked,” Vaughan wrote replying to Jaffer.
However, in the end, it was Wasim Jaffer who came up with a mouth-shutting reply saying, “Never knew I’d have to pay like this for getting out to your filthy off spin.”
