Team India can take a sigh of relief as pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is on course to recovery from his injury. BCCI's official twitter handle has posted a video of Bhuvneshwar Kumar's training in the nets and this video shows that Bhuvi is regaining his fitness.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of India's premier pace bowlers and was part of India's all matches in the World Cup till the game against Pakistan. However the pace bowler was seen in pain while bowling against Pakistan and had infact left the ground mid-way during his first spell and didn't comeback to complete his overs.
Later, the team management stated that he is having some fitness issues and hence he was ruled out of the match against Afghanistan.
Bhuvneshwar is known for his accurate swing bowling and is regarded as one of the finest proponents of swing bowling across the globe. Recently he improved his death bowling and emerged as a highly economical bowler in the last phases of a limited overs game.
The right-arm pacer has featured in 108 ODIs claiming 123 wickets and has an impressive economy rate of 4.99. He played a key role in India's victories against South Africa and Australia in World Cup by picking 2 and 3 wickets respectively.
