Watch: India stars gear up ahead of IPL 2020

Ever since the unlock process has begun in the country,  many cricketers have started to train to get back to the shape. With the BCCI now announcing the IPL 2020 venue and the dates as well, Indian players have now started to practice on the nets. Many Indian superstars could be seen practising on the nets to get their touch back before the IPL begins.

The latest edition of the IPL is all set to begin from 19th September in UAE due to the ongoing pandemic across the world. India is also struggling with the coronavirus at the moment. Ever since the announcement of the IPL 2020, Indian cricketers have started to hit the nets to hit the ground running from the word go.

Delhi Capitals off-spinner Ravi Ashwin could be seen batting at the nets as he posted a picture on his social media captioning ‘Bliss.'

Chinna Thala of CSK – Suresh Raina also posted a video of a batting session alongside Rishabh Pant of Delhi Capitals. Both left-handed southpaws could be seen playing some eye-pleasing shots during the session.

Rishabh Pant also posted a different batting session video ahead of IPL 2020 in which he could be seen batting in the full-flow.

Pace bowler Mohammad Shami who has been putting some hard yards even in the lockdown has posted a video on the social media in which he could be seen doing some fielding drills ahead of the IPL 2020.

India and Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan posted a video on his Instagram account. The explosive batsman could be seen hitting the balls really hard in this clip and the ball is making the sweet sound from his willow. He captioned the video – ‘keeping the intensity going, love the sound of the bat on the ball.'

India and RCB skipper also flaunted his new RCB kit on the Instagram story as he gears for the IPL 2020.

All the franchises now would be gearing up for the T20 action in the UAE. The IPL 2020 would be played outside India and there would be no crowd as well due to the ongoing pandemic.
