Watch: Will you sledge your captain? Kohli’s reply to Bumrah’s IPL challenge

The 2019 edition of Indian Premier League will start in less than a month and players have already started focusing on their battles. Now Indian skipper Virat Kohli has responded to Jasprit Bumrah’s challenge in the latest IPL advertisement created by Star Sports.

Will you challenge your captain? Kohli asks Bumrah

Recently, Jasprit Bumrah featured in an advertisement for IPL in which he challenged the Indian captain for a face-off and revealed his desire to knock out the stumps of Virat Kohli.

The right-hand batsman is now seen responding to this challenge in the latest IPL advertisement.

In the advertisement, it is shown that Kohli is watching Bumrah’s statement on television and gets amused when Bumrah calls him ‘Cheeku Bhaiiya’ (Cheeku is Kohli’s nickname)

And then the Indian cricketer asks Bumrah will he sledge his capatin? Kohli also accepts Bumrah’s challenge and notes that Bumrah has finally learnt it.

At the same time he warns the pace bowler that he will settle all their previous accounts as well.

Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the 2019 edition of Indian Premier League has created this advertisement in which the Indian batsman speaks about Bumrah’s challenge in the IPL.

IPL 2019 to start from March 23

The 2019 edition of Indian Premier League is set to begin from March 23. In the first match, defending champions Chennai Super Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore while Jasprit Bumrah’s Mumbai Indians will play their first match on March 24 against Delhi Capitals.

The much awaited face-off between Kohli and Bumrah can happen in the game between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore which is scheduled on 28th March.
