Ripal Patel IPL: In a massive news coming in from today’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match, Gujrat all-rounder Ripal Patel is all set to make his debut for the Delhi Capitals (DC) against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The 50th match of the ongoing edition of the tournament is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. The Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant has won the toss and opted to bowl first.
While playing domestic cricket for Gujrat, all-rounder Ripal Patel performed impressively well in the shortest format with the bat in the recent while. One of the most brilliant facts about the swashbuckling right-handed batsman is his incredible strike-rate of 189.10 in T20 cricket. Ripal has represented Gujrat in 9 T20 innings scoring a total of 191 runs at an average of 31.83. He has also played 9 List A games where the 26-year-old has smashed 111 runs. He is an explosive middle-order batsman who can contribute also as a right-arm medium pacer.
The Delhi Capitals have brought in Ripal Patel for Steve Smith and thus, they are playing in this match with just three overseas players namely Kagiso Rabada, Shimron Hetmyer and Anrich Nortje.
