Sanjay Yadav IPL 2022: In a big news update, Gorakhpur-born Sanjay Yadav is all set to make his debut for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the today Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After getting knocked out of the IPL 2022 playoffs qualification race, the Mumbai Indians are giving opportunities to some young Indian players who have done well in the Indian domestic circuit. While keeping an eye on the next IPL season, MI team management will want to test their bench strength.
Sanjay Yadav was born on 10 May, 1995 and has played all of his domestic cricket for the Tamil Nadu state team so far. He is primarily a left-arm orthodox spinner who can also contribute amazingly well with the bat lower down the order. He made his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu in February 2017 against Kerala. While talking about his numbers in T20 cricket so far, Sanjay has managed to take as many as 16 wickets from 27 matches at a brilliant economy of less than 7.
Sanjay Yadav has also smashed close to 500 T20 runs at a fine strike-rate of 124.12.

During the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction, the Mumbai Indians picked Sanjay Yadav at his base price of INR 20 Lakh. In the previous seasons of the IPL, Sanjay was also associated with the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders camps.
