WI vs PAK Stats : West Indies will take on Pakistan in a two match Test series starting at Kingston, Jamaica from Thursday, 12 August. These two sides played a four match T20I series which Pakistan won by 1-0 as three matches of it were washed out due to rain. This series is the first series for both the teams in the second edition of World Test Championship and they will look for a good start. West Indies suffered a series loss against South Africa this June and they will look to bounce back and on the other side, Pakistan have won Test series against South Africa and Zimbabwe this year and they will be hoping to carry that winning momentum into this series.

West Indies and Pakistan faced off each other in Test cricket in 1958 and in the starting years West Indies dominated but in the late 80s and 90s Pakistan was one of the sides who competed well against the mighty Windies side of that era and in the recent years Pakistan have dominated a lot and West Indies too have put up some good performances but not enough to clinch a series and this time they will be eyeing a series victory against the visitors.
