Supernovas Playing 11: The Indian Premier League is on the verge of its conclusion, but before that, the BCCI has planned for yet another Women’s T20 Challenge which will kickstart on 23 May, and the final will be played on 28th May a day ahead of Tata IPL 2020 final. The Women’s T20 Challenge will comprise 4 matches and all the matches will be played at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
The three-team competition will kick start on May 23 and the first match will be played between the Supernovas and Trailblazers at 7:30 PM. The Supernovas will be led by Indian women’s T20 skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, whereas, keeper batter Taniya Bhatia will be her deputy. The 16 women squad comprises four overseas players, Alana King from Australia, Deandra Dottin from West Indies, Sophie Ecclestone from England, and Sunne Luus from South Africa.
Talking about the playing XI, West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin is expected to open the innings along with Priya Punia. Below is the expected playing XI for Supernovas.
