ENG vs IND, 4th Test Live Score India 329/6 at Lunch of Day 4: England on top

England seal the 1st Session of Day 4

The England team have been successful in containing runs and taking crucial wickets which helped them to come over the top after the end of 1st session of the ENG vs IND 4th Test match.

The Indian team started cautiously in the first hour of the game, and Jadeja and Kohli’s partnership started to look better. But Chris Woakes trapped Jadeja LBW and then Rahane was dismissed for a duck by him as well. This caused a serious shift in the momentum of the test match. With the pressure mounting, Virat Kohli was dismissed by knicking Moeen Ali’s ball to the slip fielder, Craig Overton.

Can India push the lead to 300 Runs?

The wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur are currently at the crease for Team India. Thakur, who was the top scorer for the Indian team in the first innings with 57 runs has started cautiously and will look to replicate his performance of the first innings.

It will be pretty hard for both the batters to score runs due to the confidence gained by the England bowlers in the 1st session. But, both the players have been magical performers in crucial situations and can help the team in reaching the lead of 300 runs.
