The 4th Test Match between England and India is all set for a thrilling end with both teams competing strongly against each other to get a lead in the test series. After a major upset with the bat in the 1st innings, the bowlers tried hard for the Indian team but home team took the lead of around 100 runs, which was huge given the fact that England pacers were bowling in a fine fashion. But, the Indian team put up a strong fightback led by opener Rohit Sharma and significant contributions came from Pujara, Thakur, and Pant.

Indian bowlers manage to pick up 2 wickets in 1st Session

The Indian bowlers built a fine pressure in the 1st session on Day 5 of the 4th Test Match against England. The openers of the home team, Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed started the day cautiously and tried to continue the fine momentum build them on Day 4.

But, the 1st wicket was taken by Shardul Thakur who got Rory Burns in a caught behind dismissal to Rishabh Pant. This brought the energy and confidence back into the Indian team. Then, Dawid Malan was run-out by a fine pick up and throw by Mayank Agarwal, and executed by Rishabh Pant.

Will Joe Root flourish or Indian bowlers will keep picking wickets?

The England captain Joe Root is at the crease for the home team and will play a vital role in deciding the result of the 4th Test Match. In his short stint before the lunch session, he has not looked quite comfortable and is still in some pressure. The England team have managed to score 54 runs for a loss of 2 wickets in the 1st session.

The Indian bowlers will look to keep the pressure mounting on the England captain and alongside him is Haseeb Hameed who is not able to score enough and has used a defensive strategy to counter the Indian bowlers. The bowlers like Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj have bowled well and will be critical to the team’s result in this test match.
