BAN vs WI Dream11 Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match<
Dhaka, December 20 Thursday at 04:30 PM IST
After a rejuvenating eight wickets win in the first of three T20Is, Windies will be looking to seal the series when they take hosts Bangladesh in the second T20I at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka on Thursday noon. The visitors chased down the 130 runs target in just 10.5 overs with 8 wickets remaining. Shai Hope’s blistering 23-ball 55 and little cameos from Nicholas Pooran (23 of 17) and Keemo Paul (28 of 14) brought the winning runs for the visitors.
Earlier, apart from Skipper Shakib Al Hasan (61 of 43) none of the Bangladeshi batters managed to produce significant knocks after winning the toss. Barring Shakib, only Mahmudullah (12 of 19) and Ariful Haque (17 of 18) were the Bangladeshi batters who managed to score in two digits. The hosts posted 129 runs on board in 19 overs at the loss of ten wickets. For Windies, Sheldon Cottrell was the pick of bowlers finishing with 4-28 and was later chosen as the player of the match.
The hosts have won the ODI series by 2-1 after whitewashing Windies by 2-0 in Test series. The month-long Windies tour will end with the third and final T20I scheduled to be played on Saturday at the same ground. The hosts have an opportunity to make a record if they manage T20 series triumph by registering wins in the remaining two matches. In that case, it will be first-time for Bangladesh to register wins in all three formats of series against a team.
As the remaining two games will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, all the focus shifts from Sylhet to Dhaka. A bright sunny day with no rain in the forecast is expected in Dhaka. In the last T20I played here in February, both the teams scored 190+ runs. So, a similar high scoring encounter is expected when Windies and Bangladesh will lock horns here.

Fantasy pick from Bangladesh-
Shaik Al Hasan – The Southpaw was the lone warrior in the first T20I contributing 61 of 43 deliveries. He will be the key for hosts with both bat and ball.
M Rahim and Mahmuddullah – Both are the pillars of Bangladesh batting line-up and share great responsibilities to put a defendable total on the board. Also, both Rahim and Mahmuddullah are the leading run scorers at this venue.
Tamim Iqbal – Although he is looking a bit off-colour, Tamim is an explosive opener who can hit maximums easily. Once he gets going, it will be difficult for Windies to stop him.
Fantasy picks from Windies-
Shai Hope- Shai Hope is the back of Windies batting line up. The wicketkeeper batter scored two hundred in ODI series and continued his fine form in the first T20I contributing 55 of 23 balls.
Nicholas Pooran- This 23-year-old big-hitting left-hander has impressed everyone with his clean hitting techniques. He managed a half-century against India in the 2nd T20I and has now been picked by KXIP for IPL 2019.
Sheldon Cottrell- Cottrell slashed Bangladesh’s back with his aggressive bowling and took a four-wicket haul. The pick of Windies bowling attack, Cottrell finished with 4-28 in the first encounter.
