PS VS MLR DREAM11 TEAM | PERTH SCHORCHERS VS MELBOURNE RENEGADES PREVIEW

PS vs MLR Dream11 Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match

Melbourne, December 20 Thursday at 01:45 PM IST

One of the favourites, Perth Scorchers will start their BBL 2018-19 campaign at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night. Scorchers will lock horns with Melbourne Renegades who are without the services of regular skipper Aaron Finch and opener Marcus Harris. Both are unavailable due to their national commitment and are taking part in the test series against India.

Melbourne Renegades

In Finch’s absence, Tom Cooper has been given the responsibility to skipper the side. Renegades are suffering from some injury issues and will have to quickly find the right combinations to get going. Mackenzie Harvey is still recovering, Will Sutherland is experiencing back problems and will feature as a pure batsman. He is expected to fit in the place of injured middle order batter – Beau Webster. However, to deal with this, Renegades have roped in wicket-keeper batter Sam Harper and middle-order batsman Kelvin Smith. Harper impressed with his recent outing in practice games while Smith has experiences of previous BBL seasons.

Perth Scorchers

Perth Scorchers have one of the strongest looking squads on papers. However, they are too down with a couple of injuries and unavailability of players. Their key players – Shaun Marsh is away on test duty, Joel Paris is injured and Cameron Bancroft is still suspended. They will be banking on
Josh Inglis, David Willey, Ashton Agar and their skipper Mitchel Marsh who is only available for the season opener. Marsh will miss the second encounter against Sydney Sixers as he is named in the Boxing Day Test squad against India. Scorchers would also be thinking to rope in Pakistani leg-spinner Usman Qadir as Marvel Stadium’s wicket helps spinners.
