Indian Premier League 2019 | CSK vs DC | CSK vs DC DREAM11 GRAND LEAGUE TEAM

Vizag, May 10, Friday at 07:30 PM IST

The reigning champions Chennai Super Kings will face off Delhi Capitals in the Vivo IPL 2019 Qualifier 2 at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam in the evening with an eye on the final spot.

It will be a clash between the veterans and rookie looking for the final spot against Mumbai Indians. After finishing second in the table, Chennai Super Kings faced 6 wickets defeats at the hands of Mumbai Indians and will now try their luck against Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals knocked out Sunrisers Hyderabad by 2 wickets in the Eliminator and soaring high on confidence. While the bowling has weakened a bit in the absence of K Rabada, Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, P Shaw and S Iyer have shown great composure with the bat and have finished a couple of games alone.

Chennai’s biggest concern is batting- Shane Watson, S Raina and Faf du Plessis have not looked up to mark till now. The leading run-getter for the side is skipper MS Dhoni and once again all lies on his shoulders. All the eyes will be upon him as currently only he is the match winner in CSK.

The coin will be tossed at 07:00 PM IST in the evening.

One change for CSK – Shardul Thakur replaces Murali Vijay

Team 1 and 2: As per the ground conditions

With the conditions being hot and humid, the wicket is expected to be on the slower side. While the hard-ball in the starting will be easier to play, it will be really tough to score against spinners who will bowl with the softer ball. Also, the toss winning side is expected to field first. Bowling in second innings will be difficult for spinners as they will not be able to grip the ball due to dew coming into play. So, we will make two teams-

CSK bowling first –

DC bowling first –

Team 3 and 4: As per the stats

Skipper MS Dhoni is the top scorer for the side with 405 runs. Also, he has remained unbeaten in both the encounters against Delhi Capitals this season – 44* and 32*

Although S Raina hasn’t looked quite comfortable in this season, he has a good average against DC. His both the innings against DC – 59 and 30

Watson has struggled a lot this season. Amit Mishra alone has dismissed him five times. With the wicket favouring spinners the most, A Mishra will continue to trouble S Watson

For Delhi Capitals, Shreyas Iyer and R Pant have an average of 30+ against CSK

S Iyer’s last two innings – 44 and 18 and both the times he has been dismissed by spinners

S Dhawan’s last two innings against CSK – 51 and 19

Team 5 and 6: Unorthodox Combinations-
