3. Rassie van der Dussen
For South Africa, Rassie van der Dussen has probably been their best batsman in this three-match ODI series so far. After playing a crucial role in the last two Test matches, van der Dussen notched up a staggering hundred in the first ODI to help the Proteas team win the game by a convincing margin of 31 runs. He also looked in a fine touch during the run-chase in the second ODI match where he scored an important unbeaten knock of 37 runs and added crucial 74 runs along with Aiden Markram for the fourth-wicket partnership. India’s explosive wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has delivered some crucial noticeable performances with the bat across formats in the recent while. The visiting Indian team is very much likely to make some changes in their playing 11 from the second ODI. Two of Prasidh Krishna, Deepak Chahar or Mohammed Siraj are expected to replace Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar while Jayant Yadav is likely to come in for Ravichandran Ashwin. It will also be interesting to see whether out-of-form Shreyas Iyer gets another opportunity or not.
