Mumbai Indians have remained the force to be reckoned with ever since the start of the Indian Premier League. MI Released Players 2021

Mumbai Indians released some of their players from their last year’s squad before the auction in February. Most of them were fast-bowlers as Mumbai Indians team management looked to free up some of their purse to buy fresh names from the auction pool. Sri Lankan and MI great Lasith Malinga was released from the squad as he had announced his retirement from all forms of the game. Apart from the Sri Lankan, Mitchell McClenaghan, James Pattinson and Nathan Coulter-Nile were released from the squad. A couple of domestic talents in Prince Balwant Rai and Digvijay Deshmukh along with Caribbean Southpaw Sherfane Rutherford were also released before this year’s auction.
