Babar Azam

Pakistan’s all-format skipper Babar Azam is surely one of the top picks from his country who deserve to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-handed batsman is counted as one of the modern era greats and is often compared with Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The 26-year old is the leading batsman for his county and is considered a specialist when it comes to white-ball cricket, but he has continued to shine for Pakistan in the purest format as well.

Babar Azam is currently the No.2 ranked T20I batsman in the world and is also the all-time leading run-scorer in the Pakistan Super League with 2070 runs to his name. The right-handed batsman has a solid average of 45.89 and strike rate of 130.64 in T20Is and with his ability to score runs consistently he has the potential to break into the playing XI of any IPL team.
