IPL 2021: England Players To be Available for IPL Phase 2 in UAE – Reports

There was a time when hardly any players from England were part of the best league in the world in Indian Premier League. Such was the state of England’s white ball cricket back then.
The situation now is totally contrasting to what it was around 4 years back. The prestigious league is dominated by none other than English cricketers at the moment. Almost all the franchise have more than 1 English player in their squad which shows the rise of England’s white ball stature.
Big boost to 2nd leg of IPL 2021
England selector Ashely Giles earlier told that England players will not be available for the 2nd leg of IPL after the season was abruptly postponed due to bio-bubble breach in May. IPL without England players would have been a huge disappointment for fans and the franchise owners but BCCI have made sure that England players will be present for the marquee event starting September 19th.
Some of the prominent stars like Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran will be in action. One has to wait and see whether Ben Stokes will be available for the league who recently took an indefinite break to treat his mental health. Jofra Archer is another superstar bowler who might be wanting to play the IPL just as a warmup to WT20
CSK would have been pathetic without the England duo of Sam Curran and Moeen Ali who were the backbone of CSK’s dominance in the first leg. They once again start as favorites going into the 2nd leg with all their players intact.
Talks of Indian players available for The Hundred
Earlier today, there were reports revealing that Indian stars might be available for The Hundred competition in future which will help the ECB to generate good revenue and promote the competition in a even better way.
Now with news of England players available for the 2nd leg coming out on the same day as Indian players available for The Hundred in future could mean only one thing.
