Mohmmad Amir was born and brought up in Punjab, Pakistan. He made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in Galle on 4th July 2009, ODI debut against Srilanka in Dambulla on 30th July 2009 and T20I debut against England in London on 7th June 2009. He is a 25 year old pacer who is at his peak to perform. He was once caught up in spot-fixing and got banned for 5 years from Pakistan Cricket Board then he made his returned to domestic cricket. He has a healthy rivalry with Indian talismanic seasoned opener batsman Rohit Sharma and had a good record against him.
Amir picked up 6 wickets in 84 runs in the 4th Test against englishmen.
Amir and Saeed Ajmal became the 2nd pair to score a 100 runs + partnership stand at Number10 in an ODI with a 103 run.
Amir became the only bowler to take PSL hat-trick in a match against Lahore Qalandars.

Mohmmad Amir was awarded the Best International Bowler of the Year by Cricinfo.
He was once spotted under the allegations of Spot Fixing when he and his counterpart Mohammad Asif intentionaly bowled No-Balls which was questioned by an English News-Paper but Amir continued his protest against the allegations to prove his innocence.
Amir was banned from under the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Code but later on, Amir breached the ban while playing for Surrey Cricket which was a friendly match. He was informed that he can play a friendly match despite his ban while ICC was investigating the Incident.
He served half of his six-month sentence at the Portland Young Offenders Institute in Dorset when he was convicted at the Southwark Crown Court along with Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt. they were pleaded guilty, of Conspiracy to cheat at gambling and conspiracy to accept corrupt payments.
