It all happened after Parag smashed Harshal for an incredible six off the last ball of the 20th over. Both the players exchanged some words near the boundary line before the official broadcasters, Star Sports, went for an ad-break. The RCB pace bowler ended up conceding as many as 18 runs in that over as the Riyan guided Rajasthan Royals towards a fighting total of 144 for 8 on the scoreboard.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, the Rajasthan Royals did not had the best of starts as they lost three quick wickets inside the first six overs of the powerplay that included the prized scalp of Jos Buttler. RR skipper Sanju Samson was looking in a brilliant touch before getting dismissed for a cameo of 27 runs. However, Riyan Parag contributed with an excellent unbeaten knock of 56 runs off 31 balls that included 4 sixes and 3 fours to help Rajasthan Royals finish with 144 runs.

In reply, things have not worked out very well for the Royal Challengers Bangalore either during the run-chase. RCB have already lost three big wickets of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell with just 37 runs on the scoreboard.
