Rishi Dhawan Mask: Over the years, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed some innovative transformations that have completely changed the dynamics of the game. The fans have seen the wicket-keepers sporting some trendy helmets, the batsmen wearing a few of the sloppy hats and also having cutting-edge hairstyles. In order to ensure complete safety in the game, the umpires have been seen wearing shields on the arm both in the IPL and international cricket.
During the ongoing IPL 2022 match between the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, all-rounder Rishi Dhawan was seen wearing an innovative face mask while bowling in the second innings. He missed the first half of the tournament due to a nose injury and that is the main reason for sporting that face mask. Dhawan is playing his first match for the Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022 season.
During the recent Ranji Trophy season, Rishi Dhawan got hit on his face in the second round of matches. He was then taken to hospitals for scans and subsequently also underwent a nose surgery. In order to avoid any further damage to his nose, the PBKS all-rounder is actually wearing the protective gear on the face.
