Who won today’s IPL match?: MCA Stadium in Pune hosted the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). It was a carnival of runs that saw players of the both the teams bat with the positive intent. But in the end it was MS Dhoni’s men who had last laugh and registered their third win of the season by 13 runs.

Losing the toss came as a blessing in disguise for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as their openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (99) and Devon Conway (85*) cashed on the opportunity of good pitch to score 182 runs for the opening partnership and help their side post a mammoth total of 202 runs on the board. T Natarajan was the pick of the bowlers in the first innings and returned with the figures of 2/42.

Chasing the target, SRH were off the flyer as Abhishek Sharma (39) and Kane Williamson (47) scored 58 runs for the opening partnership. But after that they lost wickets in quick succession to found themselves tumbling at 126/4. Nicholas Pooran kept his side in the hunt with his unbeaten half-century but in the the target was too much as Mukesh Choudhary took a four-wicket haul to win the match for his side by 13 runs.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad was awarded Man of the Match in today’s encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at MCA stadium in Pune. The right-handed played one of his best innings in the IPL and scored 99 runs to help his side score a mammoth target of 202 runs. His knock was laced with 6 fours and 6 sixes. He also stitched 182 runs for the opening partnership.
