BOU vs ARS Dream11 Match Prediction

BOU vs ARS Dream11: Mikel Arteta is set to take charge of his first game as Arsenal manager as the Gunners play Bournemouth on the Boxing Day at Dean Court. The size of the task for the rookie Spaniard is clear from the fact that Arsenal are just four points adrift of Bournemouth, who themselves are just four points above the relegation zone.

Form and recent results:

Bournemouth:

  • The Cherries have lost six times in the last seven games, winning just once in that period. However, that sole win came at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago as Dan Gosling’s goal six minutes from time gave the team an all-important win.
  • But Bournemouth face a huge relegation threat, bigger and more grave than the club may have witnessed since earning the promotion. The injuries haven’t helped the cause with too many first-team players still on the sideline.
  • That said, the cause for optimism for Eddie Howe and his team is that things are pretty tight in the middle, with only seven points separating them from Tottenham Hotspur in seventh place. A decent run-in can change the picture dramatically.

Arsenal:

  • Arsenal are hovering in the bottom half of the table. It goes without saying that this is the worst return for the Gunners in the Premier League era.
  • A huge 9 points separate the Gunners from the top-four, and if one considers how Arsenal have gone about their business this season, the Champions League qualification already looks like a lost cause.
  • But anything can happen still, for there are a lot of games to be played, and a decent run could yet throw Arsenal in the mix for the Champions League.
