ENG vs KOS Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

England round off the latest international break with a Group A UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier match against Kosovo at St. Mary’s Stadium.

The Three Lions are currently leading the charge in the group having won all their three games heading into this match.

Gareth Southgate’s men took their goals tally to 14 goals in just three games after thrashing Bulgaria 4-0 at Wembley just three days ago.

Kosovo meanwhile have surprised one and all in this qualifying campaign as they sit 2nd in the group ahead of the Czech Republic.

It’s the position they deserve to be in but a trip to England will test the team’s true potential.

Match Details:

The European Qualifiers match will be played between England and Kosovo at St. Mary’s Stadium, in Southampton, England. The ground has a capacity of 32,505.
The game will start at 12:15 AM (IST), on Wednesday, September 11.

England Team News:

  • Jesse Lingard was sent home early due to the illness which forced the Manchester United player to miss the England training ahead of the Bulgaria game. The 26-year-old is unavailable for selection.
  • Another Red Devils, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, pulled out of the squad citing injury problems. United’s summer arrival from Crystal Palace, who has so far been the most consistent player for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is reported to have suffered a back injury before the international break.
  • Kyle Walker remains unavailable and won’t feature here.

Possible INs and OUTs of this game:

  • Gareth Southgate has hinted that he may make some changes to his playing 11 from the last game.
  • The backline could look entirely different here as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, and Ben Chilwell all in contention to start the match.
  • James Maddison could get his first England start here, and if he starts, Ross Barkley could be the man creating space for him.
  • The front three should remain same, but if a change happens, it will most probably come on the right, with Jadon Sancho replacing Marcus Rashford.

England squad:

  • Goalkeeper: Tom Heaton, Jordan Pickford,  Nick Pope
  • Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Ben Chilwell, Michael Keane, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier, John Stones
  • Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, James Maddison, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Declan Rice, Harry Winks
  • Forwards: Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Jesse Lingard, Raheem Sterling

England Probable XI:

Pickford (GK), Trent Alexander-Arnold, / Kieran Tripper, Joe Gomez / Michael Keane, Danny Rose / Ben Chilwell, Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, Ross Barkley / James Maddison, Marcus Rashford / Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling

Kosovo FC Team News:

  • Kosovo have a clean bill of health ahead of their next game against England.
  • No suspension as well.

Possible ins or outs of this game:

  • Expect Kosovo to make the same playing 11 from the last game.

Kosovo Probable XI:

Muric (GK), Vojvoda, Rhahmani, Aliti, Hadergjonaj, Voca, Halimi, Zhegrova, Celina, Rashani, Muriqi

  • For Kosovo: Vedat Muriqi, Bersant Celina

Suggested combination:

ENG vs KOS Dream11 potential winner:

Bernard Challandes has totally transformed Kosovo’s fortunes in the last year or so. The visitors are on a 15-game unbeaten run and a win over England will top the previous results by some margins.

But England are an elite team and are very hard to beat in front of their own fans.

We predict a home win.
