TOT vs LIV Dream11 Match Prediction

TOT vs LIV Dream11: Jose Mourinho has had enough run-ins against Liverpool in the past to be termed as one of the arch-nemesis of the Reds. One of the most talked-about incidents from those meetings is definitely that certain game in 2014 when Steven Gerard had a rare brain-fade moment. Jose masterminded that win and proved to be the ultimate catalyst in Liverpool eventually finishing as runners up that season.
Mourinho is now with Tottenham and he once again comes against Liverpool at a time when the Reds are on the cusp of achieving something big. A win for the Reds at the Tottenham Hotspur will take them to 20 wins in the first 21 games. No team from the top-5 leagues in Europe has achieved that feat every before.
Klopp downplayed the significance of that feat by saying that there are other things to concern at the moment. But for Mourinho, it’s another opportunity to get under the Reds‘ skin, something he likes, something he never shied away from accepting.

Form and recent results:

  • Liverpool have been 99.99% perfect in the league so far, with the only blot on their almost 100% record is the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
  • Liverpool have not conceded a goal in the last five games in all competitions.
  • The Reds have kept a clean sheet in the last five Premier League games.
  • Tottenham are without a win in the last three games in all competitions.
  • Tottenham have failed to beat Liverpool in the last five games in all competitions, last beating Reds 4-1 at Wembley in October 2017.
  • Liverpool can do the league double over Tottenham for the second straight season.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool Team News:
Tottenham Hotspur Team News: Spurs’ 1-0 defeat at Southampton was costlier than the 3 points Mourinho’s team dropped as striker Harry Kane picked up a nasty hamstring injury that will keep him out until late March.
Mourinho also shed light on Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies, revealing that the duo will most probably be back later this month.
Moussa Sissoko and Tanguy Ndombele are also out of this game, with the former set to be out for at least three months after surgery on the knee.
Danny Rose and Harry Winks will be assessed before the game.

Likely changes:

With no respect to Harry Kane, Spurs actually played better in Kane’s absence last season and successfully nagotiated the Champions League knockout games against Manchester City and Ajax.
So Mourinho is expected to go with Son Heung-Min as his furthest man forward in what will be a false nine. Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela are expected to be on the wing, with Dele Alli in as a playmaker behind Son.

Tottenham Hotspur key players:
Son Heung-Min: 05 Goals and 07 Assists.
Dele Alli: 06 Goals and 03 Assists.
Lucas Moura: 04 Goals and 1 Assist.

Liverpool team news: Joel Matip and Nathaniel Clyne remain out at the moment. James Milner and Naby Keita will also miss the game for the Reds.
Dejan Loveren and Fabinho both have returned to light training and won’t be available for this game.
Xherdan Shaqiri has been training with the first-team all week and maybe fit enough to make the bench, while new signing Takumi Minamino is expected to feature from the bench.

Liverpool likely changes: Klopp has a fixed starting 11, and has no reason to make changes to his tried and tested formula. The front three of Salah, Mane, and Firmno will start, while the back will have Van Dijk, and Gomez as centre-backs, and Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robinson as full-backs. The only change is expected to come in the midfield, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain coming in to play alongside Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum.

Liverpool key players:
Sadio Mane: 11 Goals and 06 Assists.
Mohamed Salah: 10 Goals and 04 Assists.
Roberto Firmino: 06 Goals and 04 Assist.
