IPL 2018: ‘Best vs Best’ anthem celebrates the spirit of Indian Premier League

The Indian Premier League has launched the anthem for the eleventh edition slated to start from 7 April.

BCCI and Star India have collaborated for the first time for the campaign to celebrate the fervor of the Indian Premier League.

It put into the spotlight the spirit of IPL where talents across the world put their best foot forward to take the T20 format of cricket to a different level.

The anthem is titled ‘Best vs Best’.

The anthem has been released in five different languages- Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu across television, radio and digital platforms.

South African filmmaker Dan Mace, music director Raajeev V Bhalla and vocalist Siddhart Bhasur have joined hands to create the anthem. Bhasur has sung the anthem in all five languages.

The very essence of IPL is a thrilling, action-packed celebration of cricket where the best of talent take on each other in one of the most gruelling cricket tournaments in the world, ” quoted Rahul Johri, CEO of BCCI.

It is a fantastic celebration of both the game and its millions of fans across the world. The Best vs Best campaign endeavours to showcase the pinnacle of cricket that this tournament is associated with,” he added.
