Sunny's connection with football

Football- a beautiful game has always remained one of the most popular games watched and adored by the masses. Sunny Leone, the popular Indian actress calls herself an avid fan of football. She has expressed her fondness for the beautiful game of soccer time and again. She displayed her affection for the game of football once again and posted an eye-catching image where she can be seen enjoying the game during a break in one of her shoots.

Sunny was also the co-owner and the brand ambassador of the Kochi-based franchise Kerala Cobras, in the second edition of Premier Futsal. While speaking at an event she said, “I have played sports since I was very little, I used to play soccer, I was part of the ping-pong team. I have played basketball and played a lot of sports while growing up.”

The inaugural season of the Premier Futsal League, five-a-side event featured soccer legends like Luis Figo, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Hernan Crespo, Michel Salgado, Falcao and Ronaldhino, it has garnered popularity with time.

Sunny Leone, was delighted to get associated with the team and said last year, “The sport of football is one of the popular sports of Kerala and it gives me great pleasure to be part of Premier Futsal. The short, highly energetic and entertainment package which Premier Futsal offers is its USP and the reason of its growing popularity.

“It is also a wonderful opportunity for many youngsters in India to rub shoulders with some of the biggest legends in the sport. I am also excited to work with Figo and Falcao in Premier Futsal and I am proud to be the co-owner of Kerala Cobras,” she added.

The next edition of Premier Futsal is yet to be announced but Sunny’s connection with football makes it even more beautiful and we would love to see her dribble the ball in next season too.
