The Olympic medal has been a distant dream for the Indian athletes over entire course of the tournament’s history. The support of the government and sport authorities plays an integral part in uplifting a comparatively lesser known sport. The prime example of this was displayed by the Indian government who arranged special facilities in USA for silver medalist of the Olympics 2020, Saikhom Mirabhai Chanu amid the global crisis. The medals are expected from the wrestling superstars like Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat as well in upcoming days.
