In Grade V, he impressed the coach of Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, Ravindra Negi. Looking at his talent, the coach convinced Juyal’s father to allow his son to get admitted into the academy at Dehradun, which was 275 km away from his district Haldwani. After the home sickness of Juyal faded, he started to focus well and was a permanent member of Uttar Pradesh U14 and U16 state teams.
In Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he played for U19 Uttar Pradesh team and amassed 401 runs in 5 innings. Then Aryan continued his fine form with 171 runs in 4 innings of Challenger Trophy. These performances helped him to get named in 2017/18 India U19 World Cup squad, which ultimately lifted the title. Then, he was also handed the responsibility as an India U19 captain for Sri Lanka series. He made his domestic debut in a List A fixture in 2018. Then gradually featured in other two formats as well. After being consistent contributor for Uttar Pradesh team in 2021, he was bought by Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League 2022 Auction.
Aryan Juyal has featured in 8 First Class matches and has amassed 371 runs at an average of 33.72. He has played in 20 List A matches, and garnered 532 runs at an average of 29.55. His highest score of 120 came against Delhi in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021. While he has been quite average in T20 format, with only 67 runs in 7 fixtures.
The talented youngster went unsold in the 2020 IPL Auction. But, his performances in 2021 domestic circuit helped him to get a contract from the Mumbai Indians team in Indian Premier League 2022 Auction for his base price of 20 Lakhs.
