Blessing Muzarabani is a Zimbabwean cricketer who is a right-arm pacer. Muzarabani is aided with natural pace and bounce. In recent times, he is one of the most promising talents coming out of Zimbabwe. Having played only a few games so far, he has already made a name for himself.
Blessing Muzarabani has played 6 Tests, 30 One-Day Internationals, and 21 T20 Internationals for Zimbabwe. He has also played 23 First-Class, 46 List A, and 40 T20 matches. He has 19 Test wickets, 39 ODI wickets, and 25 T20I wickets to his name. He also has a five-wicket haul in an ODI game.
Coming to his batting, he does not have prominent numbers being a fast bowler. He has a high-score of 30 not out in Tests, 17 in ODIs, and 8 in T20Is. However, he does have a high score of an unbeaten 52 in First-Class cricket.
Blessing Muzarabani made his Test debut against South Africa in 2017 at Port Elizabeth. It was the historic pink-ball Test. Unfortunately for Zimbabwe, they lost the game in a span of two days. In the following year in 2018, Blessing Muzarabani made his ODI debut against Bangladesh at Mirpur. He bowled just four overs in the game and failed to pick any wickets.
The right-arm pacer made his T20I debut against Afghanistan at Sharjah in the same year in 2018 where he picked up two wickets, although in a losing cause. Muzarabani has also plied his trade for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Northamptonshire.
Currently, he is a net bowler of Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season.
