Fazalhaq Farooqi is an emerging left arm fast bowler from Afghanistan. He was born on 22 September 2000 at Baghlan province. Farooqi made his name by impressing the selectors by his performance in U19 World Cup 2019/20. Soon after, he featured as a net bowler for the Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings in IPL.

Fazalhaq Farooqui was impressive in the U19 World Cup 2019/20 with 5 wickets in 4 matches. Soon, he was named in the Afghanistan test squad for Zimbabwe series, but has not featured in test matches. He made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in March 2021, and played his first ODI fixture against Netherlands in January 2022. In both the formats, he has returned with 1 wicket each.

In First Class cricket, he has been successful with 22 scalps in 12 matches. In List A format, he has 7 wickets in 7 matches, and 3 wickets in 5 T20s. In 2021/22 Abu Dhabi T10, he has scalped 7 wickets in 12 matches. While, he bagged 2 wickets in 3 matches of Bangladesh Premier League 2022.
