We all know the WWE has a hit or miss record with its booking at Wrestlemania. Sometimes you’ll get to witness some of the stupidest bookings like Daniel Bryan losing his WWE World Heavyweight Title to Sheamus in only 18 seconds at Wrestlemania 28. Then the opposite end, a genius booking work with Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 30. Now we’re a few days away from Wrestlemania 34 and can only speculate about how they’re going to book the entire show. Here are 5 booking decisions that WWE should not take at Wrestlemania 34.

#5 Roman wins the Universal Title

With the rumor that Brock will be leaving mid-2018 to get back into UFC, the odds of Roman winning the Universal title in their match is much higher now. It’s 2018 and the fans still haven’t warmed up to Roman. WWE have tried everything from The Rock, John Cena even defeating the Undertaker to get Roman over with the fans but that is still not happening.

The wrong booking decision the WWE can make with this match is having Roman win and worse, win clean. The easy fix can be Paul betraying Brock or maybe even the CEO himself Vince McMahon interfering. The WWE cannot let Roman get the win in a clean way. This match cannot be a test of strength with the stronger winning. This match needs to be more than a simple one on one, ‘The Beast’ vs ‘The Big Dog’ because we’ve already had that.

#4 AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match is cut short

For the fans ever since AJ Styles debuted at the 2016 Royal Rumble, they have been waiting for Nakamura to join the main roster. The two have already faced each other at Wrestle Kingdom 10 on January 10, 2016 and it was epic.

Now fans want to see this again but on the Grandest Stage of All. The only problem is the match card, there are too many matches and the WWE creative team may reduce the time of the matches. This will anger the fans to some extent especially if they affect the time on this match.

Granted, the two can put on an amazing match even in about 10 minutes but still, everyone is expecting a long, technical, aerial, skill based match. None of this will be possible if the match is cut short in order to favour other matches such as Roman vs Brock or Kurt and Ronda vs Triple H and Stephanie.

#3 Picking a wrong winner for the Andre the Giant Memorial match

Now when we talk about the Andre the Giant Battle Royal we know this match is just filler. A tribute match that is more fun than story building. The match is filled with amazing surprises and sudden returns. This year we’re hoping to see returns like Big Cass or Samoa Joe.

Now as to who wins, that can be left to the WWE as the winner is kinda pointless as the winner is never given an importance in the main storyline. Having said that, picking a part timer to win just to get a feel good moment with no pay off would be disappointing too.

#2 A Main Event Match Could Be On The Kick Off Show

This is the Creative Team’s fault. Arranging the match card is hard as you need to space the big matches from the small ones and keep the main title matches at the end. For this reas,on we could see a few title matches moved to the kick off show such as Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax or maybe even Randy Orton vs. Rusev vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Bobby Roode.

#1 The Undertaker’s future

After the Undertaker lost to Brock at Wrestlemania 30 everyone thought he was going to retire. But he didn’t and even after he lost to Roman and left his coat and hat ithe n ring before leaving, he still came back.

Now we’re unsure if the Undertaker is going to retire after his match with John, so there is a possibility that John Cena could win.
