The foreign players have often been quite active in their interest of playing in the Indian Premier League since its inception. The different boards are also allowing their players to participate in the world’s biggest T20 league due to its competitiveness and the learnings, which ultimately help them to perform well in the key tournaments and easily adapt to subcontinent conditions. In the IPL 2022 auction, a total of 318 overseas players have given their name in the IPL Auction. The maximum players (59) are from Australia, followed by South Africa(48).
Here are the list of foreign players, who have set their base price of 2 Crores for IPL 2022 Auction.

Quite notable names in these list are Quinton De Kock and Mitchell Marsh, who are expected to incite good interest from the franchises due to their current form in white ball cricket, while Warner, Boult, Faf Du Plessis, and Rabada have been terrific performers for their respective teams as well.
A total of 9 foreign players have been retained by the franchises for the next season of Indian Premier League. While, the Punjab Kings franchise decided not to retain any of their foreign players of the last edition.
