The IPL 2022 Auction is quite near and there have been excitement about some of the top Indian players, who will be up for grabs for the different franchises. With a limit of 2 Indian and 2 Overseas players or 3 Indian and 1 Overseas players as the retentions, the key players missed out and will be interesting to see them getting a huge interest in the auction table.

The likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Harshal Patel, Devdutt Padikkal, Mohammed Shami were terrific for their teams in the IPL 2021 and are expected to attract good amount of interest by the franchises. While the players to watch out in the auction will be Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, and Dinesh Karthik, who have done well for the past 1 year.
Apart from the 8 franchises, the two new entrants, Team Lucknow and Team Ahmedabad have retained 3 players each with captains being KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya respectively.
