Yuzvendra Chahal IND vs SA: In a big breaking news update, premier leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal once again misses out for the India vs South Africa 2nd T20I encounter scheduled to take place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The Men in Blue will definitely be feeling very much high on confidence as they are coming into this match on the back of an amazing 8-wicket victory over South Africa in the first T20I. India have gained a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, India’s skipper Rohit Sharma revealed that they are playing the same team and Yuzvendra Chahal is still not part of the side. The Indian team management decided to go with off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the first T20I match as the South African team has a total of three left-hand batters in their top order. Ashwin bowled quite well in the last game where he conceded just 8 runs in his four overs.
“Yes (Would have fielded as well). Just want to come out, play some good cricket and entertain the crowd. We have never beaten these guys here and it’s gonna take a lot of effort from everyone to do that and we have come out prepared and pretty much ready for the game. Not too sure how the conditions will be. When I touched the pitch there was some stickiness and we gotta be a little cautious at the start. We got solid batting line-up and it will be a challenge upfront. We are playing the same team,” said Indian captain Rohit Sharma during the toss.
