ENG vs IND: The ongoing first Test match between England and India is wonderfully set up with some quality cricket on offer. England bundled out for just 183 runs in their first innings after which India took a crucial lead of 95 runs as KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja scored brilliant fifties each. However, the hosts have shown better application with the bat in the second innings so far to wipe off the deficit.

England takes lead of 24 runs

Unlike the last three days, it turned out to be a bright and sunny morning session at Trent Bridge in Nottingham as the clouds stayed away. England’s opening duo of Rory Burns and Dominic Sibley started off things on a tentative note. For India, Mohammed Siraj opened the bowling alongside Jasprit Bumrah and both the bowlers kept on asking some difficult questions regularly. Siraj eventually got reward for his disciplined bowling in the form of Burns’ wicket. Bumrah too removed Zak Crawley in quick time to leave the hosts in a troublesome situation at 46 for 2.
