England Playing 11: England were handed a heavy defeat by the hosts, Australia in the first Ashes Test of the summer. The visitors will now look to bounce back in Brisbane, after being humbled in the opener. It will be interesting to see as to how England go about making changes to their side for the second Test.
England head coach, Chris Silverwood has hinted that James Anderson and Stuart Broad might be drafted into the playing 11 after missing out at the Gabba. As for the batting order, things are likely to be kept unchanged.

Rory Burns had two poor outings in the first Test, and the pressure will be on him to deliver in Brisbane. He will open the batting alongside Haseeb Hameed, who squandered away two decent starts. Dawid Malan and Joe Root stitched a wonderful partnership in the second innings, which brought back the visitors back in the game, atleast momentarily.
Ollie Pope and Ben Stokes will bat at number five and six respectively. Jos Buttler also had two decent starts in the first Test, and will come in at number seven. England are expected to play four pacers at Brisbane, which includes James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Ollie Robinson and a toss-up between Mark Wood and Chris Woakes.
