DC Playing XI: After a heartbreaking loss against the newbies Gujarat Titans in the last game, the Delhi Capitals will return to the field for match no 15 of Tata IPL 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. They will take on the other newbies of this season Lucknow Super Giants in a high-octane contest.
One of the best news for the Capitals is the availability of their prolific opener David Warner. Warner has completed his quarantine and is available for selection, He will slot into the eleven straight away as Delhi played with two overseas in their opening game and three overseas in the second fixture. - Unavailable: Mitchell Marsh
- Mitchell Marsh will be out of quarantine in a day or two but he is still nursing his injury.
- Warner’s availability will bolster Delhi Capitals and he should feature in the eleven for Tim Seifert.
- If Warner features, he will open the innings with Prithvi Shaw, whereas, Mandeep Singh or Kona Srikar Bharat might bat at no 3.
- Anrich Nortje is also doing his bowling drills and is close to regaining full fitness as per the statement of DC’s Assistant Coach Shane Watson. If he is available for this match, Khaleel Ahmed will, unfortunately, have to miss out.
- Rishabh Pant, Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, and Axar Patel will complete the batting lineup.
- Among the bowlers, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, and Mustafizur will continue to feature.
