Reports: Axar Patel Tests Positive For Covid-19

“We are having a camp in Mumbai, so a change of venue, change of scenery, change of energy which is good. And the hand is progressing nicely. I will get my stitches out tomorrow then I will start my batting again following a few days, fielding before the first game, so looking forward to it. I think it will depend upon progress, how the next week goes. It will determine whether I will be fit for the first game or not. Certainly, with the time frame that I have all of the medical staff are backing me to be fit, that’s just without the reoccurrence of many issues.”

IPL 2021 Schedule, KKR Schedule For New IPL Season

KKR will open their IPL 2021 campaign with the game against SRH on April 11. The two-time IPL champions missed out on the playoffs last season.

As for the IPL 2021 schedule, there will be no home advantage for the IPL teams this season with the matches set to be played at five venues in India – Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore.

Due to rising Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, there are rumours that the matches may be shifted from Mumbai. But the BCCI and the IPL committee are yet to come up with any statement.

The final of the IPL 2021 season will be played in Ahmedabad on May 29th.
