The Under 19 World Cups have given talented cricketers to the Indian cricket. It all started in 2000, where the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Mohammad Kaif helped Indian team to lift their first ever title. Currently, India has 4 titles under their name, and is gradually looking quite strong for their 5th title as well.

Raj Bawa scripted history by scoring an unbeaten 162 against Uganda U19 team in U19 World Cup 2022. He beat the likes of Mayank Agarwal, Shubman Gill, and Shikhar Dhawan’s records in the previous editions of the tournament. The topper in this list is Ambati Rayudu who scored 177* against England in 2002. With all these players doing good in senior cricket, Bawa would look to make it big as well in future.

In the 2022 U19 World Cup, the Indian team has qualified for the quarter finals with a big win of 326 run victory over the Uganda U19 team. The contribution in the batting department came from the centuries of Raj Bawa and Angkrish Raghuvanshi. While Nishant Sindhu scalped 4, while Hangarekar dismissed 2 batters to help the team in winning the match.
