The spinner has done well in the last 2 home series against West Indies. In 2018/19 series, he was the leading wicket taker with 9 dismissals, and was the second highest wicket taker for Indian in 2019/20 series. But, not enough matches behind him might put Kuldeep under pressure ahead of this fixture. This will certainly be the best chance for the spinner to become a regular member of the team.


Changes Possible for Both Teams in India vs West Indies 2nd ODI

The Indian team is confirmed to be making 1 change, with KL Rahul coming into the Playing 11. While it will be a toss up between Deepak Hooda and Ishan Kishan, with one of them making way for Rahul’s inclusion. The spinner Kuldeep Yadav is expected to replace Shardul Thakur, who was ordinary in the last game.
