India vs Australia: In a crucial news update, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have officially announced that the India vs Australia 2nd T20I match will now be an 8-over-per-side contest scheduled to be hosted at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Team India will want to stage an impressive fightback after having conceded a disappointing 4-wicket defeat at the hands of Australia in the first T20I encounter. Australia have gained a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.
After a long delayed start, the good news for the huge number of fans gathered especially at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, the India vs Australia 2nd T20I game will now be a 8-over-per-side contest. With three rounds of inspection being conducted, the umpires announced that the toss will take place at 9:15 PM IST while the match will be starting at 9:30 PM IST. The powerplay will have two overs and a bowler can bowl a maximum of two overs.
“Although the conditions are not perfect, the toss will be at 9:15pm IST, start at 9:30pm. Eight overs per side, two overs of the powerplay and a bowler can bowl a maximum of two overs,” inform the two umpires, Nitin Menon and K N Anantha Padmanabhan
