Umran Malik Debut IRE vs IND: In an important news development, right-arm speedster Umran Malik is all set to make his India debut in the first T20I match against Ireland scheduled to take place at the Castle Avenue in Dublin. The Men in Blue are scheduled to play as many as two T20I matches in Ireland under the captaincy of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya. India will be without their Test-bound cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant.

After an amazing Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season recently, Umran Malik has been handed over debut India T20I cap for the opening encounter against Ireland. Team India vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar presented the youngster with his maiden cap. While playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Umran ended up picking as many as 22 wickets from 14 games that also included a brilliant five-wicket haul. He was also part of the India squad during the previous T20I series against South Africa at home but could not get any match time.

Umran Malik Bowling Speed

For the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Umran Malik looked in a brilliant rhythm throughout the IPL 2022 season and surprised the entire world with his astonishing bowling speed. Umran bowled the second fastest delivery in IPL 2022 when he clocked 157 kmph in a game against Chennai Super Kings and was consistently bowling over 150 kmph without any serious injuries.
