‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle is second on the list of Most sixes in ODI Cricket. The southpaw who is considered as one of the biggest six hitters in world cricket has smashed 331 sixes in 301 matches. Not only this, but he also has over 10,000 runs to his name in ODIs at a strike rate of 87.2.

Former Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya, who was mostly known for his aggressive style of play, has tonked 270 sixes in 445 matches. Being one of the best batsmen from his country, the southpaw has scored 13430 runs in 50-over format at a strike rate of 91.2.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who is also known as Hitman, is also among the batsmen who have Most sixes in ODI Cricket. The right-hander is rated highly as the opener in ODIs. As of now (13th July), he has played 231 matches, in which he has smashed 250 sixes. This number is only expected to raise with the pace he’s scoring runs. In total, Rohit has 9359 runs in 50-over format at a strike rate of 89.2.

India’s most successful skipper MS Dhoni, who mostly batted during the fag end of the innings, has smashed 239 sixes in ODI cricket. The keeper batter has played 350 matches overall, in which he has scored 10773 runs at a strike rate of 87.6.
