Predicted LSG Playing XI, Lucknow Super Giants Players List with Salary for IPL 2022


Predicted LSG Playing 11 – Lucknow SuperGiants was bought by the RPSG group for a record bid of 7000 crores, who had previously owned the Rising Pune SuperGiants franchise in 2016 & 2017.

Ahead of the 2022 IPL mega auction, they drafted in KL Rahul,the talented wicket-keeping batter, Marcus Stoinis, the Australian power hitting all-rounder and Ravi Bishnoi, a promising young wrist spinner. They also roped in Andy Flower as the head coach and have named KL Rahul as their skipper for this season.

KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock will open the batting for Lucknow complementing each other by hand. The middle order consists of Manish Pandey, the hard-hitting Deepak Hooda with Stoinis and Jason Holder as their two power-hitting pace bowling all-rounders. Mark Wood and Avesh Khan will complete their pace attack along with Holder and Stoinis while they have a spin trio in Krunal Pandya, K Gowtham and R Bishnoi.

LSG 2022 Players List with Salary

The Sanjiv Goenka-led management isn’t new to the IPL auctions as they have a couple of years experience with RPSG In 2016 and 2017. Alongside team mentor Gautam Gambhir and head coach Andy Flower, LSG management has had a good auction. They have invested high on the pace bowlers Avesh Khan and Mark Wood as they bought them at 10 crores and 7.5 crores respectively. Jason Holder was their second highest buy at 8.75 crores and they seem to have overspent on Krunal Pandya at 8.25 crores. Other notable buys include Quinton de Kock, Manish Pandey and Deepak Hooda. While their batting unit seems to have some chinks in their armour, their bowling attack is quite solid.
