The Dasun Shanaka-led team went on to defeat Australia in an amazing style during the third ODI match by a margin of 6 wickets on Sunday. On the back of a stunning century from Pathum Nissanka, Sri Lanka managed to chase down a total of 292 runs with as many as 9 balls to spare. The hosts have now taken a 2-1 lead in this five-match ODI series against Australia and both the teams will meet in the fourth ODI on 21 June, 2022 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
