Australia Playing 11 SL vs AUS: In a massive breaking news, the visiting Australian team has announced their playing 11 for the upcoming first T20I match against Sri Lanka scheduled on 7 June, 2022 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Australia is all set to visit Sri Lanka in order to play 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and a two-match Test series with the long tour ending on 12 July, 2022.
Australia have named their playing XI for the first of the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. The big update is the return of the star duo of David Warner and Steve Smith after missing the one-off T20I against Pakistan and were not available even for the previous T20I series against Sri Lanka. Both Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh have also been included in the Aussie side while Matthew Wade is the wicket-keeper batsman.
Ashton Agar is the lone frontline spinner in the Australia playing 11 for the first T20I against Sri Lanka scheduled to begin on Tuesday. The trio of Kane Richardson, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will form part of the pace bowling attack.
