Olympics 2020 India Schedule for 4 August, Day 12


On Day 12 of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, all attention will be on the India women’s hockey team and Lovlina Borgohain, as both will be attempting to make history. A roaring Indian women’s hockey team would play for glory when it takes on mighty Argentina team in the Olympic Games semifinals on Wednesday, building on a remarkable performance in the last 3 matches. The athletics qualification matches have also been started for past few days, and with Golf and Wrestling, there will be a lot of action of Indian Contingent in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

A total of 5 events, Wrestling, Boxing, Golf, Athletics, and Hockey will feature the Indian Players tomorrow, 4 August in Tokyo Olympics 2020. The experienced players like Neeraj Chopra and Aditi Ashok would look to perform well.

Atlhletics: 7:05 AM IST- Men’s Javelin throw Qualification Group B- Shivpal Singh

Golf: 7:40 AM IST- Women’s Individual Stroke Play Round 1- Diksha Dagar

Wrestling: 8 AM IST- Men’s Freestyle 57 Kg 1/8 Final- Ravi Kumar

Women’s Freestyle 57 Kg 1/8 Final- Anshu Malik

Men’s Freestyle 86 Kg 1/8 Final- Deepak Punia

Boxing: 11 AM IST- Women’s Welter Semifinal 64-69 Kg – Lovlina Borghain

Hockey: 3:30 PM IST- India vs Argentina: Women’s Team Semifinal

India Update for Day 11 at Tokyo Olympics

Indian Men’s Hockey team lost to Belgium 5-2 in the semifinals, and lost their chance to Gold and Silver Medal. They will play Bronze medal match on 5 August.

Athletics: Tajinder Pal Singh Toor failed to qualify for finals in Shotput after finishing 13th in the qualification round.

Wrestling: Sonam Malik lost to Bolortuya Khurelkhuu of Mongolia in Women’s Fresstyle 62 kg Quarter-finals.

Javelin: Annu Rani failed to qualify for final round.
