KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock were the best opening pair in the IPL 2022. The duo in almost every match provided their team with a decent start and they were one of the main reasons for LSG’s success and there’s no brainer that they will keep opening the innings next year as well.
Deepak Hooda had his best season in the IPL and he made most of the opportunity of batting at No.3. He’s expected to bat at the same position for LSG in the next season. Although Manish Pandey failed in IPL 2022 but being a seasoned campaigner, he’s likely to start next season.

Being one of the draft picks, Marcus Stoinis is expected to bat at No.5 with Krunal Pandya, who displayed great all-round skills, at No.6. Jason Holder, who was dropped in 2022 due to poor performances, is expected to come back strong with both bat and ball.
The pace trio of Dushmantha Chameera, Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan is likely to retain their places in the squad with Ravi Bishnoi being the lone spinner in the team.
