Jonny Bairstow ENG vs SA: After an exciting ODI series, England is now ready to lock horns with the visiting South African team in a three-match T20I series. The opening T20I encounter between England and South Africa is scheduled to be played on 27 July, 2022 (Wednesday) at the County Ground in Bristol. The England vs South Africa recently concluded three-match ODI series ended with a 1-1 scoreline after the third and final match got abandoned due to rain.
There have been a lot of media reports doing the rounds recently about England’s batsman Jonny Bairstow sustaining a knee injury and him possibly being not available for selection in the first T20I game against South Africa on Wednesday. The speculations were believed to be true after Bairstow was seen lifting his teammate Sam Curran during an unusual workout session in a video going viral on the internet. However, on his Instagram story, Jonny Bairstow has rubbished all such injury claims and revealed that he is absolutely fit, available for selection in the 1st T20I against England.

The duo of Jonny Bairstow and leg-spinner Adil Rashid will be making a comeback into the England T20I playing XI for the first game against England after having missed the previous home series against India.
